About the Marshall JCM900 4100 amplifier:
The JCM900 4100 was the next logical step on from the JCM800 Series. This particular amp is an authentic re-issue of the original JCM900 4100 which first made its debut in the early 1960s.
This is a two-channel, high gain plus reverb, 100W head with no solid state components. So it delivers that classic Marshall tone and is durable enough for regular gigging. The JCM900 4100 has many fans due to its wide feature set and huge versatility.
Channel A is voiced to be sparklingly clean on lower gain settings. This builds to a raunchy crunch when driven harder. Channel B meanwhile takes the gain even higher producing tones from silky smooth distortion to searing, saturated scream.
The Marshall JCM900 4100 is also equipped with a series FX Loop with its own Level control for use with rack FX or stompboxes.
