The Fender Bassbreaker 15 amplifier uses:
We always recommend JJ valves for the Fender Bass Breaker 15. They guarantee awesome tone and long-life.
You can order these singly, the power valves as matched pairs, or a complete set. However, we strongly recommend you replace all your valves at the same time so your amp sounds better than ever.
Bring back the tone, power and sparkle to your guitar amplifier. Treat yourself to a new set of valves.
If you have any questions about replacing your valves please do not hesitate to drop us an email. We are always happy to help.
If you have never changed your valves before please take a look at our very helpful FAQ section where we answer all the most common questions we get asked each week.
One of the questions we are often asked is “Do I need to bias the valves when I put new ones in?”.
This amp is Cathode biased which means you do NOT need to bias the amp when you replace your valves. Bias is something that causes a lot of confusion. This is mainly because those amps which you do need to adjust are called “Fixed Bias” So you can see where the confusion comes from.
About this amp:
The Fender Bassbreaker 15 valve combo is what might have happened in the 60’s if Fender had chased the rock amp market instead of the country and blues players. Packed with loads of features, this amp is a top-notch amplifier for stage or studio.
The all-new three-position Gain Structure switch gives you three distinct “boutique” “voices”. There are also some recording-friendly features. So these include an XLR line output with switchable speaker emulation and Power Amp Mute. The gorgeous level-adjustable digital hall reverb adds just the right amount of ambience.
