About the Peavey Classic 30 tube amp:

The Peavey Classic 30 was launched in the early ’90s. Earlier models were used black tolex, while later models are dressed in a diagonal tweed material.

It is a combination of design influences – from early Fender combos to modern high-gain amps. Features: 12″ Blue Marvel speaker, 2 channel preamp. Controls: Master volume, reverb level, 3-band passive EQ.

The Classic 30 amplifier offers a simple array of features. Master treble/mid/bass and reverb. It has both pre and power amp gain knobs, and a normal channel volume.

The master EQ is useful when switching channels. The Peavey 30 has an optional footswitch which in our opinion is well worth getting.

Reverb and More:

The reverb is lovely and springy, may not be long enough for hardcore 60’s surf players, but it’s long enough for most people. If you need more a new long spring tank is easy to install, and is relatively cheap to buy.

So, if you’re looking for great-sounding valves for your Peavey amplifier – you’ve come to the best place.
