The Vox AC30 Hand wired HW2 and AC30 HW2X head and combo amplifiers use:

• 2 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (in position V3).
• 1 x GZ34 rectifier valve.
• 4 x EL84 matched power valves/power tubes.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V3 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.
