About the Orange OR15H:
The Orange OR15H amp is a 15-watt single channel amp. It is cathode biased which means you do not need to rebias the amp when you change your valves.
The valve complement is: 2 x EL84’s; 3 x ECC83 and 1 x ECC81 for the FX Loop. This is a very loud 15-watt rock machine.
It has a very straightforward layout. It’s a one channel amp with gain, 3-band EQ, volume, a switch to choose between pentode and triode mode (7 or 15 watts) or standby, and a power switch. That’s all you get on the front panel. On the other side of things, you get 2 x 8-ohms speaker outs and a 16 ohms out and a serial FX loop.
So, all in all, a very versatile head which you can use for gigging. Connect it to the right cab and you get a really awesome, punchy sound. It’s also light enough to sling in the boot without doing your back in!
So, if you’re looking for great sounding valves for Orange amplifier you’ve come to the best place.
