About the Orange Dual Terror amp:

The Dual Terror is a twin channel, 30-watt head switchable from 30 to 15 or 7 watts. You get more choice and options shrunk into a size that belies its power. Most of the appeal of the Orange amplifiers lies in their simplicity of features and ease of use.

The Dual Terror expands slightly on the usual minimalistic Orange design. So they’ve added a second channel, giving the Dual Terror both a Fat and a Tiny Terror channel.

Notes on fitting the valves and biasing the amp:

V1 is closest to the input jack… so facing the front of the amp the positions are:

V4, V3, V2, V1.

V1- 1st half of tube is the 1st gain stage of both channels
2nd half of tube is the 2nd gain stage of the Tiny Terror channel

V2- Phase inverter.

V3- 2nd & 3rd gain stage for the Fat Channel.

V4- Phase Inverter for the Fat Channel.

This is a cathode biased amp so you do not need to bias the valves when you swap them.
