About the Orange Dual Dark 50:

The Orange Dual Dark 50 is a high end, high performance amp built for British gain. Powered by 5 x ECC83s, 1 x ECC81 and 2 x EL34s this amp has amazing amounts of drive and masses of features. This amp features two channels, both able to go from clean to crunch to distortion.

Each channel has independent Volume and Gain controls so you can balance the channels how you like. Channel A has a three-band EQ for tone shaping while Channel B has a ‘Shape’ control on it. Both offer great control over your sound to suit any guitar you plug in.

The Orange Dual Dark 50 features a channel foot-switch and also a foot-switchable attenuator. This makes it great as a workhorse for a gigging musician. This amp could be used at home, for rehearsing, recording or gigging.
