ABOUT THE MESA BOOGIE ROYAL ATLANTIC RA-100:
The Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic RA-100 is Mesa’s nod towards classic British tones. Fantastic and rich, the EL34 loaded amp produces sounds more often associated with Marshall than the classic American rock amps we already know from Mesa.
So the Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic RA-100 has two channels with three modes, all of which are foot-switchable. Channel one is clean to light drive, and stays on the American side of the Atlantic, according to Mesa.
Channel two is where the ‘British’ tones start happening. Split across two modes; lo and hi, which cover mid-’60s Marshall blues, late ’70s and ’80s ‘modded’ rock and beyond.
The Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic RA-100 pillar feature is a built-in, channel-assignable power attenuator. Multi-Soak Via three knobs on the rear panel mean you can run any of the three modes at any one of five power settings.
So if you’re looking for great sounding valves for Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic RA-100 Â amplifier you’ve come to the right place.
