Laney VC15
Valves for Laney VC15 amplifier.
The Laney VC15 amplifier uses:
- 2 x ECC83 preamp valves (also known as 12AX7).
- 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in position V3.
- 2 x EL84 matched power valves/power tubes.
Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V3 position which is the preamp valve furthest from the guitar input jack.
Over time your valves slowly lose their tone and their power. After a while, you will start getting a range of odd noises like hum, crackles and pops until they finally stop working altogether.
We always recommend JJ valves for the Laney VC15 amplifier. This is because they guarantee you will get awesome tone and power at a very competitive price.
