Jet City JCA2112RC

Looking for great sounding valves for Jet City JCA2112RC amplifier? You’ve come to the right place.

Valves for Jet City JCA2112RC amplifier.

The Jet City JCA2112RC amplifier uses 3 x ECC83 (also called 12AX7), 2 x ECC81 (12AT7) and 2 x EL84 matched power valves.

We always recommend JJ valves for the Jet City JCA2112RC amplifier. They guarantee awesome tone and long life at a very competitive price.

This is the layout:

V1: ECC83

V2: ECC83 (use an ECC82, 12AY7 or 5751 for more headroom).

V3: ECC81 (Reverb)

V4: ECC81 (phase inverter – this valve is the fourth one in the line furthest from the input jack)

V5/V6. 2 x EL84 power tubes.

V7: ECC83 (sits next to the power valves).

Originally the amp came with 5 x ECC83 preamp valves (one of which should be balanced for the V4 position. The use of 2 x ECC81 valves will get the very best out of this amp but if you prefer to stay with 5 x ECC83 just let us know – it’s the same price.

About the Jet City JCA2112RC amp:

The Jet City RCA2112RC is combo version of the JCA20H or JCA12S. It is a single channel, 20-watt combo powered by 3 x ECC83, 2 x ECC81 and 2 x EL84. Featuring a simple approach with just one channel and three-band EQ.

Owners of this amp like to experiment with a whole range of different combinations of preamp valves. We have found over the years that this is the best combination but you may like to experiment too. Go to the forums to find out more.

It also has a Presence control for tone shaping with a Gain and a Volume to deliver all the punch the JCA20H has. In addition, a valve-driven reverb allows for room reverbs almost all the way to full ambience. Everything is sent through a single Jet City custom Eminence 12” speaker rated at 100 RMS.

Easy access speaker connectors on the rear panel allow the Jet City RCA2112RC to drive external cabinets. So you can do this either with or without the internal Jet City Eminence Custom driver.

Stacked on an additional JCA12S, the speaker volume doubles and the added height brings the controls to arm’s length when you’re on stage.

Features:

Valves for Jet City RCA2112RC: 3 x ECC83, 2 x ECC81 and 2 x EL84.
20 watts of output.
Single channel.
1 x 12” Jet City custom Eminence speaker.
Valve driven reverb.
Finally that all-important weight factor: 39 lbs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently purchased a replacement tube set for my Line 6 DT25 Head amp from Ampvalves.
The website is very user-friendly and makes it easy to find the perfect tube set for your amp.

Due to an error by the parcel service, my shipment did not find its way to me. After contacting the support, I was helped immediately and competently.

The quality of service was truly exceptional and exceeded my expectations. A special thanks to Barry Tyler. Hey Barry, you did a very good job.

The tube set arrived afterwards in excellent condition, exactly as described on the website.

The quality is remarkable. It’s well worth the money for their high-quality tubes. I highly recommend the tubes from Ampvalves.
Also, my amp gives grateful feedback with a wonderful fresh sound.

Great choice of valves, amazing customer service and prompt responses to queries via email. I was unsure of the best valves to use for my amp and sound, they gave me great advice.
