“The EL84 (6BQ5) Matched Quad Power Valves are brilliant as are their ECC83 (12AX7) Preamp Valves. They have dramatically improved the performance of my Hughes & Kettner amps. Amp Valves service and support is awesome – I will use them every time”. E.T.
The stage is one of the TubeMeister 36’s natural habitats. With its 36 Watts and oversized transformers, this is one very loud amplifier. So to help tame it, H & K added the brilliant programmable Power Soak.
The Hughes and Kettner TubeMeister 36 has independent gain and master knobs and a switchable FX Loop are standard appointments on modern triple channel amps. But that’s not nearly enough for a real TubeMeister flagship.
So this amp also comes with a built-in a MIDI system to access the channels, FX loop and onboard reverb. Even the power stages of the Hughes and Kettner TubeMeister 36 integrated Power Soak – 36, 18, and 5 watts, 1 watt and Speaker Off – are MIDI-controllable!
So a touch of a button is all it takes to conjure up to 128 combinations. So imagine what this kind of creative freedom can do for your stage performance.
