The ENGL Metalmaster 20 amplifier uses:

1 x ECC83 (also called 12AX7) preamp valve.
1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (in position V2).
2 x EL34 matched power valves/power tubes.

This amplifier is available as a head (E309) or as a combo (E304). Both amplifiers use the exact same valve set.
