This replacement valve kit for the Hughes and Kettner Triamp MKII will get your amplifier sounding better than ever. These superior-quality valves will give you a significant upgrade in both tone and power. This superior kit comprises 13 valves, 9 preamp and 4 power valves (the photo currently only shows the power valves but you will receive all 13 valves in the kit):

• 8 x Selected Premium Grade JJ ECC83 preamp valve (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in position V9.
• 4 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Matched EL34 MKII power valves/power tubes. This is a significant upograde in quality compared with the standard EL34.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V9  position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack. this valve sits in line with the four power valves.

This amp is often found with 4 x 6L6GC power valves as well so make sure you check what is inside your amp before you place an order.

We always recommend JJ tubes for this amplifier. This is because they offer a superb tone at a very attractive price. We think these are the best valves/tubes for this amplifier. You can order these singly or the power valves as matched pairs but it is always recommended that you change them all at the same time if you possibly can.
