Description
Looking for a Great Sounding Balanced ECC82 Valve For Your Amplifier?
Our replacement Balanced JJ ECC82 (also known as a 12AU7) valve for guitar amplifiers enables you to restore the original sound and power of your amp. Just like your guitar strings, your valves start to wear from the moment you start playing. Over time you will lose tone, power and sparkle.
So get your amplifier sounding as good as the day you first bought it with this top quality replacement valve.
What is a balanced valve and what is the best-balanced preamp valve?
This balanced JJ valve is designed to fit in the phase splitter position of your amplifier. Unlike the other preamp valves, the phase splitter position (or phase inverter as it is also known) requires that both sides of the valve are perfectly balanced to reduce distortion.
The phase splitter position is nearly always the last preamp valve, furthest from the guitar input jack and closest to the power valves which it feeds.
When the valves come off the production line, very tiny variations in the manufacture mean that not all of them carry identical valve plate currents. We rigorously test all of our valves and select those that are perfectly balanced.
We always recommend the JJ range of balanced ECC82 (12AU7) preamplifier valve. This is because of their high quality and long life. You can also order your Balanced ECC82 preamp valves singly or multiples. We always recommend that you change all your valves at the same time if you possibly can.
Restore the original power, clarity and sparkle to your guitar amplifier with a brand new Balanced ECC82 (12AU7) valve.
- Awesome tone. Surely this is the most important factor for any guitarist.
- Sustained valve power to make the most of every stage in the amplifier chain.
- Long valve life. Guitar amps have to be built to take a lot of knocks. This is equally important when it comes to the amplifier valves.
This preamplifier valve has been in production for many years. So it has been tested and proven by thousands of guitarists around the world.
