About the Rivera Chubster 40:
The Rivera Chubster 40 is a two-channel, 40 watt, combo guitar amp. It uses 2 x EL34s and 5 x ECC83 valves. While it looks great, it is also a very functional amplifier.
The valves are housed in an almost deep open-back enclosure fitted with a Celestion 70/80 speaker.
The Rivera Chubster 40 has a rich and fat low end, and nice spongy mids. The construction on it is extremely durable because it’s clear only quality materials were used.
Especially relevant, it features two independent preamp channels. They each have their own distinct voicing (British and American). The foot-switchable boosts allow for four easy to dial-up sounds for loads of control when playing live.
There is also a preamp/power amp patch loop and a line out which makes gigging easy. The Rivera Chubster 40 is versatile enough for most genres.
