About the Orange Retro 50

The Orange Retro 50 is a handcrafted, single channel, 50-watt Custom Shop head with very limited availability. This amp has completely hand wired point-to-point circuitry using only the highest quality, heavy, copper wire.

This amp has two separate inputs, one Class A and the other Class A/B for more retro options.

The Orange Retro 50 has only Gain, Volume, Bass, Mid, and Treble controls which keeps the front panel simple. The Gain and Volume controls allow the amp to be spanky clean or fully distorted. It also features a foot-switchable Gain Boost for live performances. So saturating the Gain and boosting the Volume slightly is perfect for solos or creating volume dynamics.
