Best valves for Friedman BE100 amplifiers

The Friedman BE100 amplifier, also known as the “Brown Eye”, uses:

• 3 x 12AX7 preamp valves (also called ECC83).
• 1 x Balanced 12AX7 for the phase inverter (in position V4).
• 4 x EL34 matched power valves/power tubes.

 Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V4 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

There are some versions of this amp that have 5 x 12AX7 valves in the preamp stage so please check your amp before you place an order.
