Looking for great sounding valves for Fender Pro Junior amplifiers? You’ve come to the right place.
The Fender Pro Junior amplifier uses:
All models of this amp use the same valve set (up to and including the latest Version IV).
We recommend JJ valves for this amplifier.
You can order these singly, the power valves as matched pairs, or a complete set. We always recommend you change all your valves at the same time if you want to get it sounding it’s very best.
We also offer a “low gain” valve kit for this amp. Here we replace the ECC83 in the V1 position with an ECC81. This will reduce the gain by around 35 to 40%. Please note, the V1 valve is the one closest to the input jack.
As a result, it will make the amplifier quieter and gives you more extended clean headroom before it starts to break up. If you struggle with the volume, want more clarity and less “fizz” the low gain set will suit you better.
So bring back the tone, power, and sparkle to your guitar amplifier. Treat yourself to a brand new set of valves.
What do customers think of these valves?
“OK – so I was hoping for a slight lift (in quality when I bought these valves!). Initially, the volume boost was a nice surprise – but after playing for a while with cleans through to hard-core, with a little blues in-between, what I got from these tubes was a transformation in every department (I mean bass, tone n mids) ….. I am so glad I bought these valves. Five stars!”

About the Fender Pro Junior:
Fender amplifiers are found on every stage in the world, large and small.
This Fender Pro is a simple, uncluttered 15-watt tone machine – a great grab-and-go tube amp for stage and studio. It delivers the fat mid tones characteristic of EL84 output tubes.
These are driven by a dual ECC83 tube preamp and a 10” Fender Special Design speaker with vintage cone. What this adds up to is an amp with an incredibly touch-sensitive dynamic response. Other features on the Fender Pro Junior includes unique clean-to-drive volume control and external speaker capability.
This amp also packs an amazing punch for its size. You can easily gig with this amp without needing to mic it up. It’s also JUST about liftable so you can use this without too much back strain. If you’re after something bigger than a Blues Junior, but smaller than a Fender twin or Blues Deville, then consider this amp.
So, if you’re looking for great sounding valves for your Fender guitar amplifier – then look no further.
