About the amp
The BC30 is cathode biased and so there is no need to re-bias the amp when you change your power valves.
Bugera say ” “Heavy” is a relative term. The walls of amps at Woodstock? Heavy. The stacks used in modern rock? Colossally heavy. Yet neither flavour of heavy shows any sign of going out of style. The amazing BC30-212 is loaded with a lot of power – but it can also be tamed with unprecedented ease. The real tube rectifier gives you the flexibility of using one 5AR4 for an explosive attack, or two 5V4s (not included) for a smooth and round response. Try both options, and see which one is your favourite flavour; you may find you like them both – depending on the gig!”
