The Bugera BC30 amplifier uses:

• 3 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (in position V4).
• 4 x EL84 matched power valves/power tubes.
• 1 x GZ34/5AR4 rectifier valve.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V4 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

About the amp

The BC30 is cathode biased and so there is no need to re-bias the amp when you change your power valves.
