About the Soldano Hot Rod 50 Avenger amplifier.

First of all, the Soldano Hot Rod 50 Avenger is a 50-watt Single-channel head. It offers the pure tone of the legendary SLO 100 plus a built in valve buffered effects loop. The simplified signal path improves dynamic response and gives a much punchier tone. It uses 4 x ECC83 valves/tubes, one of which is balanced and 2 x 6L6GC power valves/power tubes.

In addition, the Soldano Hot Rod 50 Avenger has a High input and a Low input. This means you can access all of the gain or bypass the first gain stage. It also features Bass, Middle, Treble, Master Volume, Presence and Depth control. A rotary selector switch allows the use of either 4, 8 or 16-ohm speaker cabinets.
