Rivera Chubster 5: Features

The Rivera Chubster 55 offers 55 watts of power. It uses 4 x ECC83s (12AX7s) preamp tubes , 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter and 2 x EL34 power valves, housed in an extra-deep open-back enclosure and fitted with a Celestion G12L-55 rear-mounted speaker. The Rivera Chubster 55 has a rich and fat low end, while still managing spongy sweet mids and highs for an overall pleasing tone. The construction is extremely durable.

Especially relevant, it features two independent preamp channels, each with its own distinct voicing (British and American). The foot-switchable boosts allow for four easy to dial-up sounds for loads of control when playing live. There is also a preamp/power amp patch loop and a line out which makes gigging easy.  This amp sounds much bigger than its size and is affordably priced. Get some “Chub” in your life!
