About the Marshall JCM2000 TSL60 amplifier.

The Marshall JCM2000 TSL60 is a 60W head with 3 channels: clean, crunch, and lead.

This latest addition to the acclaimed JCM2000 series is superb!

The Marshall TSL60 amplifier head deals up 60W and an all-tube signal path. It uses 4 x ECC83s in the preamp, one of which is balanced for the phase inverter and 2 EL34 power tubes. It also features foot-switchable spring reverb with separate controls (for clean and crunch/lead). Channel controls are also dual; one set for clean (gain, bass, mid, treble) and another set for crunch/lead (gain, volume, bass, mid, treble, and a Tone Shift switch to scoop mids).

Other controls on the Marshall JCM2000 TSL60 include a master volume, master presence, and a deep switch. The latter provides a tightly focused bass boost that fattens the sound dramatically. There’s also a mix control on the back panel effects loop. Includes a 5-way LED foot controller that switches between channels, and on/off control of the reverb and effects loop.

The TSL60 has a 100% pure, all-valve signal path and a host of ‘guitarist-friendly’ features.

The Clean channel has its own controls for Gain, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Reverb. Like the 100 Watt TSL100 head, the TSL60 is capable of a wide range of harmonically rich, clean tones. From warm, round jazz to bright country twang.

Furthermore, when the Gain control is cranked, their so-called Clean channel produces a wonderfully authentic, bluesy crunch. The Crunch and Lead channels each have independent controls for Volume and Gain while sharing controls for Treble, Middle, Bass, and Reverb.
