- Awesome tone. Surely the number one priority for any Marshall owner has to be the tone. Warm, rich, fat and juicy are the words that best describe the sound from these valves.
- Sustained valve/tube power to make the most of every stage in the amplifier chain. It is the balance between volume and tone that distinguishes a great valve from a mediocre valve.
- Long valve/tube life – guitar amps by their very nature have to be built to take a lot of knocks. This is also important when it comes to the amplifier valves themselves.

Marshall Haze MHZ40C Summary.
The Marshall Haze MHZ40C is a versatile, 40 watt 1 x 12 combo. It’s powered by 3 x ECC83 and 2 x EL34 valves and is designed to be a compact, gig-able workhorse of an amp. Featuring two all valve powered channels, Normal and Overdrive. The Normal channel offers plenty of headroom to play loud without losing any note clarity or crackling up. While the Overdrive channel is what you would expect from a Marshall amp. Classic Marshall gain with separate gain control to dial in preamp drive for a more aggressive distortion.
The Marshall Haze HMZ40 features a shared three-band EQ for tone shaping. It also features onboard effects- Echo, Vibe, Chorus and Reverb. The amplifier remembers your settings for each effect so you can set up each channel exactly as you like. Effect depth and adjust controls allow considerable flexibility in a simple to use format. The Marshall Haze HMZ40 also features an Effects Loop for any external effects pedals.
