Description
Need a Replacement 6C10/ECH42/CV3888/X150 Valve for Your Guitar Amplifier?
Our replacement Philips 6C10 (also called an ECH42 or CV3888 or X150) valve for guitar amplifiers enables you to restore the original sound quality of your amplifier.
This particular valve is becoming extremely rare these days. You will find it on the original Fender Super Champ (1982-1986), the Fender Super Twin Reverb 180, the Revera Super Champ and various Ampeg models as well. We offer NOS valves (New Old Stock) that will ensure your amp delivers the tone you expect.
Your valves, just like your guitar strings start to deteriorate as soon as you start playing them. At first, this is not noticeable. But over time the tone, the power and the sparkle of your amp are affected. For a guitarist, it’s all about the tone. A new valve set will help to get your amplifier sounding as good as the day you first bought it.
The Philips 6c10/ECH42/CV3888 valve guarantees an awesome tone and long life at a very attractive price.

If you are unsure if this type will work with your amplifier just drop us an email. You can also order all our amplifier valves singly or as pairs and quads. However, it’s always recommended that you change all your valves at the same time if you possibly can.
So restore the original power, clarity, and sparkle with an NOS replacement 6C10 valve.
- Awesome tone. The number one priority for any guitarist has to be the tone of the amplifier.
- Sustained valve power to make the most of every stage in the amplifier chain.
- Long valve life. Guitar amps have to be built to take a lot of knocks. This is also particularly important when it comes to the amplifier valves themselves.
