The newest addition to the hand-wired VHT Special series, the Special 8/8 “Double-Eight” features two parallel single-ended output tubes for a combined 16-watts of exceptionally smooth and rich Class-A tone — with plenty of clean headroom.

Each output tube has its own Master volume control, allowing blending of different output tube types. The minimal pre-amp design features a single 12AX7 tube for the purest tone and a variable Boost function that’s foot-switchable.

The 8/8 combo has a 12″ VHT ChromeBack speaker.
