The Peavey 6505 Plus amplifier uses 5 x ECC83 (also known as 12AX7) preamp valves, 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in position V6 and 4 x 6L6GC matched power valves.

The two channels have independent three-band EQs, Presence and Resonance controls for complete control over your tone. The Rhythm Channel and Lead Channel have Pre/Post Gain controls. As well as Bright/Crunch switches on the Rhythm channel.
