The Vox AC15 HW1 and AC15 HW1X amplifiers use:

• 2 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (in position V3).
• 1 x EZ81 rectifier valve.
• 2 x EL84 matched power valves/power tubes.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V3 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

The AC15HW1 uses the Celestion G12M Greenback speaker whilst the AC15HW1X uses the Celestion Alnico Blue speaker.
