The Mesa Boogie Simul-Class 2:Ninety amplifier (both version 1 and version 2) uses:

• 1 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
• 2 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverters (in position V2 and V3).
• 8 x 6L6GC matched power valves/power tubes.

 Note: The two balanced ECC83/12AX7 go in the V2 and V3 position which are the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.
