The Mesa Boogie Lone Star amplifier, both the head version and combo, use :

4 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (V5).
1 x 5U4GB rectifier valve.
4 x 6L6GC matched power valves/power tubes.

Note: The Lone Star will also accept EL34 power valves.
