• 4 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (this goes in position V3).
• 2 x 6L6GC matched power valves/power tubes. These are a direct replacement for the Mesa 6L6/STR440 valves so you do not need to re-bias your amp.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V3 position which is the preamp valve in the middle of the row of five. This is quite unusual as the Phase Inverter is nearly always the last one in the line – so you would expect it to be in V5.
