This awesome highly collectable amp was made in the 1970s and is often designated as a JMP2204. The letter at the end of the serial number designates the year of manufacture (L = 1979).
From March 1977 the 2204 amp has the cascaded circuit, which many believe is superior to earlier versions. although earlier versions do look better with their toggle switches.
