The Line 6 Spider Valve Mk11 212 amplifier (and the original SV 212 MKI) come in three different guises:
- Head Version (which uses 6 valves)
- 1 x 12 Combo Version (which uses 4 valves).
- 2 x 12 Combo Version (which uses 4 valves).
The amps are identical except for the following: the head uses four 6L6 power tubes, whereas the combos are 40-Watt amps with just two 6L6 power tubes each.
All models use two ECC83 (also known as 12ax7) preamp tubes. One of these is balanced for the phase splitter in the V2 position.
The speakers, meanwhile, are Celestion V30s.
