About the amp.
This amp builds on the success of Line 6 previous models.
The Spider Valve series modelled both the pre-amp and power amp sections and then ran that through an output valve stage. The DT50 offers a more integrated system. It combines the digital preamp and tone stack with an analogue power amp.
It also combines Line 6’s HD modelling with a twin-channel valve-powered amp. The two 12AX7s and a pair of EL34s guarantee you plenty of sonic flexibility. A fancy way of saying that you are not stuck with one tone.
In fact, the Line 6 DT50 is the exact opposite of a one-trick pony. Four voicings start your journey and each one then offers multiple tone combinations.
