The Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister 5 Combo amplifier (and the head version) use:

1 x ECC83 (also called 12AX7) preamp valve.
1 x 12BH7 power valve/power tube.

The H & K Tubemeister 5 amp is built around the superb 12BH7 power valve.

We offer you a choice of either Electro Harmonix or JJ Electronics 12BH7 valves.

Both valves are highly regarded but do note that the EH valve is slightly taller than the JJ version. Of course, both valves fit this amplifier, it is just a slight difference in height between the two manufacturers.
