The Genz Benz Streamliner STM900 amplifier uses:

• 3 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).

A brand new set of valves will get your amp sounding better than ever. 

We offer two brand choices for this amplifier.  You can order a set of JJ ECC83s which are highly rated and will deliver superb results.

Or you can upgrade to an Electro Harmonix 7025 in the V1 position (that’s the one closest to the guitar input jack) and two 12AX7EH valves for positions V2 and V3.

The 7025 is an ECC83 but it is designed to deliver extremely low noise, low hum and minimal harmonics, all of which keep your amp running as quietly as possible.
