The original Tone-Master amplifier produced in 1994/1995  uses:

• 2 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter (in position V3).
• 4 x 5881 matched power valves/power tubes.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V3 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

About the amp

This kit is for the original Tone-Master produced in 1994/1995. If you have the reissue produced from 2022 onwards this is a fully digital model and uses no valves whatsoever.

The original Tone_master is a beautiful amp and the rarity makes it very expensive – if you can find one.
