The Carr Mercury V amplifier uses:

4 x ECC83 preamp valves (also called 12AX7).
2 x 6V6 matched power valves/power tubes.

Note: Steve Carr advises us that this amp does not need a balanced ECC83 in the phase inverter position V4.

About the amp

An amp of serious quality, both in build and sound.

The Mercury V is 16 watts and it replaced the previous Mercury which was 8 watts. Note the early Mercury uses totally different valves.
