About the Bugera 6260 Head

First of all, the Bugera 6260 Head is a two channel, 120 watt, all tube head. It uses 4 x 6L6GCs and 5 x ECC83s to produce powerful and rich tone. Maxing out the master volume and using the Clean gain for volume produces fat clean tone. However, turning the Clean gain up achieves a very natural sounding overdrive, what Bugera calls “Texas Clean”.

The Bugera 6260 Head features a classic rock Crunch by using the clean channel with more gain from another ECC83. Also, the Bright switch helps darker sounding instruments cut through the mix. Due to the Bright switch, hollow and semi-hollow body guitars really shine.

The Lead channel is designed to produce articulate gain and sustain. The Bugera 6260 Head’s harmonics and compression help solos stand out and cut thru the band with ease.
