This replacement valve kit for the Carr Slant 6V will get your amplifier sounding better than ever. These superior-quality valves will give you a significant upgrade in both tone and power. This superior kit comprises:

4 x Selected Premium Grade JJ ECC83 preamp valve (also called 12AX7).
1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Balanced ECC81 (12AT7).
1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Balanced ECC81 for the phase inverter in position V6.
1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ GZ34 rectifier valve.
4 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Matched 6V6S power valves/power tubes.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V6 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

We always recommend JJ tubes for this amplifier. This is because they offer a superb tone at a very attractive price. We think these are the best valves/tubes for this amplifier. You can order these singly or the power valves as matched pairs but it is always recommended that you change them all at the same time if you possibly can.
