This replacement valve kit for Marshall JCM2000 DSL401 uses 3 x ECC83 (also known as 12AX7) preamp valves, 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in V4 and 4 x EL84 matched power valves/power tubes.

The Marshall JCM2000 DSL401 amp is a 40-watt combo. It has two independent, foot-switchable channels.
The compact, EL84-powered Marshall DSL 401 1×12″ combo is the smallest model of the impressive, 8 member JCM2000 family. This Marshall amplifier produces a wide array of crystal clear sounds, tight, punchy tones and increasing levels of grind as you turn up the volume. It can also get big and bluesy when the gain control in cranked up.
The most significant difference from the rest of the DSL range is the DSL401 has three foot-switchable sounds – Clean, OD1 & OD2! The difference between OD1 and OD2 is a massive 20dB boost, which is instantly accessible with a mere tap of your foot on the supplied 2-way (Clean/OD, OD1/OD2) LED footswitch.
Like its bigger brothers, the Clean channel of the DSL401 produces a wide array of crystal clear yet complex, clean sounds. It also gets big ‘n’ bluesy when the channel’s Gain control is cranked up.
