This replacement valve kit for the Vox AC30 HW60will make your amplifier sound better than ever. These superior-quality valves will give you a significant upgrade in both tone and power. This superior kit comprises 11 valves:

• 4 x Selected Premium Grade JJ ECC83 preamp valve (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in position V5.
• 1 x Selected Premium Grade JJ ECC82 (12AU7).
• 1 x Selected Premium Grade GZ34 rectifier valve.
• 4 x Selected Premium Grade JJ Matched EL84 power valves/power tubes.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V5 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

Your valves will last about 1,000 hours on average. Try and change them regulkarly to maintain the stunning tone that this amp delivers. You can order these singly or the power valves as matched pairs but it is always recommended that you change them all at the same time if you possibly can.

About this amp:

The superb Vox 60th Anniversary Limited Edition AC30HW60 was based on the circuitry of the 1964 Vox AC-30 Top Boost amplifier. The design included eleven tubes: five ECC83 (one of which is balanced for the phase inverter), one ECC82, four EL84 and one GZ34 rectifier valve.

Like the AC-30/6, the AC30HW60 had six inputs and three channels: Vib/Trem, Normal, and Brilliant with “Top Boost.”

The Top Boost circuit added bass and treble controls to the Brilliant channel. A stunning amp and one of the most sought after from the extensive AC30 range.
