Replacement Valve Kit for your Laney LC15 amplifier.
What Valves Does The Laney LC15 Amplifier Use?
The replacement Valve Kit For Laney LC15 includes 3 x Selected Premium Grade JJ ECC83 preamp valves (also known as 12AX7) and 2 x Selected Premium Grade JJ EL84 matched power valves/power tubes.
Over time your valves slowly lose both their tone and their power. The next stage of deterioration is background noise, crackles and hum – before they finally fail altogether.
Chances are you don’t need a new set of pedals to get the tone you are searching for – you probably just need a new set of valves. Just like your guitar strings you should change them regularly.
We always recommend JJ tubes for the Laney LC15 amplifier. This is because as they guarantee you get awesome tone but they don’t cost a fortune.
You can buy valves/tubes as singles, matched pairs or a complete kit of replacement valves for the Laney LC15. However, we strongly advise that you change all your valves at the same time to get your amp sounding better than ever.
Order yours today and hear the difference.

Laney LC15: About the amp.
The Laney LC15 sets the standard. It may look like a baby, but it sounds like a real monster. 15 watts RMS of pure EL84 tone into a 10″ Custom designed driver produces unadulterated pure valve tone. The LC15 uniquely combines a pre/post gain control. So this means you get great sparkling clean tones or full-on gain or any point in between by simply turning a single rotary control.
The Laney LC15 all-valve amp has been in production for around 16 years. Up until around 2002, the Laney LC15 came with a 10″ HH invader driver and post 2002 it came with 10″ Celestion speaker. The older HH invader is superb for playing screaming blues-rock. For 15 watts this amp is really loud. So it’s great for practising but can also hold its own in smaller venues as well.
Reviews of the Laney LC15:
“So the amp sounds best for blues rock in my opinion. You get a good usable bluesy tone and a mild overdrive for country or pop music. The tone is great but it seems a little limited in versatility. This is a simple tone amp and not a ton of features to get in the way of tone.
The great thing about this amp is it sounds good with any decent guitar you have. It takes pedals really well and can get really tight in the low-end thanks to the 10′ inch speaker. Finally, the LC15 is also a low watt amp so you can crank it a little more and get those power tubes to overdrive for you without blowing through the walls”.
