Important Note: These reissue amps were first built in the 1990s. They use totally different power valves to the original Reverberocket from the 196os which uses 6V6 power valves.

Only 100 of these amplifiers were produced in 2012 based on the original 1961 design.
The Ampeg Reverberocket R12/R212R Reissue is an all-valve/tube, two-channel, 50-watt combo. It uses 2 x ECC83, 1 x Balanced ECC83, 1 x GZ34 and 2 x 6L6GC to create its legendary tone. This amp comes in either a 1 x 12 format or a 2 x 12 format. Any speakers in this combo will be Ampeg Vintage 12” speakers. It was originally one of the most sought-after amps by both blues and jazz guitarists.
It’s easy to see why. The amp features 50 watts of Class AB power with built-in reverb. It also has Bass, Mid and Treble control for tone sculpting. Additional features include a line out/line-in connection.
