Details about the Crate V18

First of all, the Crate V18 is an 18 watt, single-channel amp. It uses 3 x ECC83 and 2 x EL84 through 2 x 12” speakers. It features a 3 band EQ plus gain and master volume controls for tone shaping. In addition, a spring reverb gives your tone anything from a light reverb to full ambience.

This amp was designed to produce the sounds of the early British valve amplifiers. The Crate V18 can deliver smooth cleans and meaty overdrives. The simple cathode-biased Class A valve circuit and tone stack make this amp sound awesome whether practising, rehearsing or recording.
