Looking for great sounding valves for your Peavey amplifier? You’ve come to the right place.
The Peavey 6505 MH amplifier uses 2 x ECC83 preamp valves (also known as 12AX7), 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in position V3 and 2 x EL84 matched power valves/power tubes
We always recommend JJ valves for the Peavey 6505 MH amplifier. This is because they guarantee awesome tone and power at a very competitive price.
Remember, JJ is one of only five valve manufacturers in the world. So don’t be fooled into paying higher prices for rebranded versions of the exact same valve. These are premium quality valves and a significant upgrade in quality compared with the Ruby stock valves supplied with this amplifier.
So bring back the power and sparkle to your guitar amplifier. Treat yourself, and your amp, to a new set of valves today.

About the Peavey 6505 MH amp:
The 6505 MH authentically produces the much-loved tones of the legendary Peavey 6505 in a small, portable package. It features all-tube preamp and power amp.
The 6505 MH Mini Head has two channels that follow the same gain structure and voicing of its big brother. The channels share EQ, reverb and an effects loop. Channels, crunch, effects loop and reverb are all foot-switchable. T.S.I. tube monitoring constantly lets you know that your power tubes are in good shape, and if not, which ones need to be replaced.
The back panel of the 6505 MH is full of modern technology. This includes Peavey’s exclusive MSDI output, USB recording output, headphone output, speaker defeat switch, plus a built-in power attenuator. This means you can run the amp at full power without deafening the neighbours.
So, if you’re looking for great sounding valves for your Peavey amplifier you’ve come to the best place.
