The stunning Mesa Triple Rectifier amplifier has 14 valves on board as follows:
Over time your valves will lose their tone and their power. A brand new set of valves will get your amp sounding like new again.
We always recommend JJ valves for this amplifier. This is because they guarantee you get awesome tone and long life – and they don’t cost a fortune.
Remember, JJ is one of only five manufacturers of valves in the world. So don’t pay higher prices for valves from the same factory that have simply been rebranded by other companies.
So restore the tone, the power and the sparkle to your guitar amplifier. Treat yourself to a brand new set of valves today.
If you have any queries about replacing your valves please get in touch. We have over 30 years experience so one of our team will always be happy to help and advise.

The reason we don’t sell Mesa tubes is that Mesa doesn’t make amplifier tubes. They simply buy them from the main five manufacturers, of which JJ is one, and then rebrand them. We think they are overpriced.
However, what Mesa do promise is their valves are perfectly matched and biased for this amp so you don’t have to rebias the amp. That’s great – and we do that too, but without the hefty markup.
Each channel on the Triple Rectifier features independent wattage controls quickly accessed via the second two-position mini toggle on each of the amp’s three channels.
The Recto®’s Multi-Watt™, channel assignable power amp (Patent 7,602,927) allows each channel to be independently set at 50 or a crushing 150 watts of power.
Essentially you now have the power to harness either 2 or all 6 power tubes to each channel for power ratings of 50 or 150 Watts of class A/B power via the independent 50/150 Watt Power Switches.
