The Fender Bassbreaker 007 amplifier uses:
Your valves will start to lose their tone and power as soon as you start playing – just like your guitar strings. So they need changing on a regular basis if you want to keep your amp sounding like new.
We offer two superb valve kits for the Fender Bass Breaker 007. One is by Sovtek and the other is by JJ.
You can choose a Sovtek valve set which is what your amp would have originally been supplied with. These are superb quality tubes. Fender rebrand these valves in their Groovetubes name but if you look you will see the Sovtek name underneath.
If you’ve always liked the sound of your amp, this is the set for you and it will get your amp sounding like new again.
Alternatively, a lot of our customers are fans of JJ valves which are often described as a “little bit more rock and roll”.
Both sets are Selected Premium Grade valves and will deliver superb tone and performance.
You can order these singly, the power valves as matched pairs, or a complete set. However, we strongly recommend you replace all your valves at the same time so your amp sounds better than ever.
So restore the tone and power to your guitar amplifier. Treat yourself to a brand new set of valves.

About the Fender Bassbreaker 007 amp:
This amp comes as either a head or a combo and both amps use the same valves.
The Bassbreakers are interesting amplifiers as they take classic Fender circuits and convert them to a more rock focused design. So imagine what could have happened in the ’60s if Fender had gone down this completely different tonal journey.
The 007 amp is the smallest in the line but don’t think that this isn’t a pro piece of kit. It’s as good in the studio as it is in the home.
Powerful and unpretentious, the Fender Bassbreaker 007 packs quite a punch for its size. It uses a pair of ECC83 (12AX7) preamp tubes and a single EL84 power tube. So this delivers 7 watts of true Class-A amplification.
The Bassbreaker 007 features traditional gain and tone controls, and an interesting option-switchable vintage-style treble booster. So this gives increased overdrive and added harmonics.
One Channel, From Clean to Crushing.
The idea behind the Fender Bassbreaker 007 is that it has one channel that delivers everything. That means everything between crystal cleans to incredible high gain rock tones.
This means you can either set it up as a wonderful pedal board rig using the cleaner settings or launch into an all in one tone machine where your guitar’s volume sets the gain.
The Fender Bassbreaker 007 is rated at 7 watts. You may not be able to rock up to all of your gigs and get the sound you are looking for without using a mic. However, if you can mic up then you have an easily portable and incredibly versatile rig that does have a surprising amount of punch.
