About the Fender 68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb Reissue:
1968 was something of a transitional year from a design perspective for Fender. Its new ‘Silverface’ amps took on a new and futuristic look. They stood out because of the silver and turquoise front panel and a classy aluminium grille cloth front.
So this classic design period has been revived for the new ’68 Custom Vibrolux Reverb amplifier. It’s a 2 x 10 combo reissue based on the 1968 model. In addition, they’ve added some cool new features. The beautiful aesthetic appeal of the original sits between ’68 custom versions of the 1 x 12 ‘68 Custom Deluxe Reverb and 2 x 12 ’68 Custom Twin Reverb amp.
It’s worth noting that like many good amps, this amp is heavy. So you’ll need to be pretty fit or employ a roadie!
So, if you’re looking for great sounding valves for your Fender amplifier – then look no further.
