About the Vox AC50CPH amp:

This Vox AC100CPH is a 50 watt RMS all-tube guitar amplifier introduced by Vox in 2007 and discontinued two years later. This is a foot-switchable two-channel amp. Channel one is based on the preamp circuitry of the AC-30 Top Boost amplifier.

Channel two is a high gain channel, similar to what you’d expect from a 1970s era stack amplifier. This channel also includes a ‘fat’ and ‘bright’ switch for extra tonal versatility.

Channel One is based on the legendary AC-30 Top Boost preamp.

Everything you would expect from a classic AC-30 Top Boost amp can be found in this channel from sparkling clean to raunchy overdrive. The EQ on this channel is of the interactive passive format that is historically correct to the AC-30 Top Boost amplifier. It also includes the “Tone Cut” control found on AC-30 amplifiers.

Channel Two introduces the tones of the later British “stack amplifiers”.

The second channel picks up where Channel One leaves off, delivering the tones made popular by the towering later 60s British stack amplifiers. This channel everything from modern blues and classic rock tones all the way to high gain classic metal sounds and fluid lead tones.

A Bright Switch boosts the mid to high frequencies and is great for giving extra bite to muddy-sounding humbucking pickups. A Fat Switch adds extra gain and helps to produce a “singing” tone when playing leads.

The Presence Control not only produces a presence boost when engaged, but it also introduces a high-frequency cut filter if turned down. So this can be used to “de-fuzz” the preamp section, making it less aggressive and sweeter.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently purchased a replacement tube set for my Line 6 DT25 Head amp from Ampvalves.
The website is very user-friendly and makes it easy to find the perfect tube set for your amp.

Due to an error by the parcel service, my shipment did not find its way to me. After contacting the support, I was helped immediately and competently.

The quality of service was truly exceptional and exceeded my expectations. A special thanks to Barry Tyler. Hey Barry, you did a very good job.

The tube set arrived afterwards in excellent condition, exactly as described on the website.

The quality is remarkable. It’s well worth the money for their high-quality tubes. I highly recommend the tubes from Ampvalves.
Also, my amp gives grateful feedback with a wonderful fresh sound.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent place to grab your amp valves. Great choice of valves, amazing customer service and prompt responses to queries via email. I was unsure of the best valves to use for my amp and sound, they gave me great advice. When I ordered the valves I used the wrong delivery option and they even sorted that out for me. Highly recommended.
