About the amp:

The manufacturer describes this amp as a “low wattage tone monster”. The Rivera Venus 3 is certainly a classic American style valve amp. It uses 2 x 6V6s and 2 x ECC83s through a 12″ Celestion G12 Heritage 30 speaker. It also features Accutronics 3-spring reverb and a useful half-power vintage mode.

It’s perfect for gigging due to its foot-switchable boost which you can dial up or down. It also features a mid switch to choose between a more tweed or more blackface.

A power soak feature allows you to flip between the full 15 watts down to just seven watts. This means you keep the tone and dynamics you like but at a significantly lower volume.

The Rivera Venus 3 features a line-level output from the power amp section. This allows you to capture the most important parts of its tone without ever touching a microphone. The Venus 3’s I/O includes both a preamp output and a power amp input. Due to this you can patch in effects, tap off the preamp, or slave another amp altogether.
